I went to mid valley on the 22nd of November, but I did not have enough time to shop. So I went there again on the 27th of November. I have so many things to buy but so little money and so little time. But I still managed to buy some of the things in my check list. See, I have a check list ok. I am not like those who shop blindly.
Well. I woke up at 9a.m., but I snoozed until my friend called. I ignored. When I checked my phone, I had 3 missed called, I quickly sms back saying, 'sorry la, I am very tired, I think I am not going.' And the reply was 'apa ni... hoi... come la...'. I felt bad for not going as I promised them I will be going with them, so I quickly replied 'ok ok'
I showered, changed, and went to the bus stop. Phew!!! There was a whole bunch of student waiting for the bus. For the first time or maybe second, the bus driver let the students to stand in the bus. Previously, this will not happen, extra people please wait for the next bus which is normally one hour later. So this time the whole bus was packed and I felt so warm in the bus, carbon dioxide gases... But that was not the worse.
When we reached the KTM, there was a long long queue. My friend bought the tickets and we went to the opposite platform of the station. Guess what, a lot of people were already waiting there. I was so traumatise by the incident which happen in the train during the beginning of the semester. So whenever I came to the KTM station, I will feel very uneasy. Today is Hari Raya Haji and a lot of people came out from don't know where. Woosh. 'Tanned worker'...[foreigner] This was just like the time when I went back to Alor Star during Hari Raya Puasa. Scary.
Ok, the train came and guess what. It was already packed. But everyone squeezed into the train compartment like nobody's business. I don't even have to walk, I just stand there and automatically I was in the train already! I found a place to stand, not sit (as usual), then I saw all the 'tanned' faces, I was nervous. You should beware of these people. I heard a lot of news about pickpockets in the train and stuff like that. Don't think that this is no big deal, if you do! DUMBO please stop reading!
I was being extra careful with my belonging and we formed a circle among ourself to lookout for each other. Thank God I was tall enough, I can see what was happening clearly and I also can breathe cleaner air. Then there was this guy who was carrying a bag, I saw the bag was opened so I quickly called him and told him 'your bag is opened, I help you to zip it.' I zipped it, and he said thanks. Later, I think he checked his bag, but I wasn't paying attention to him as I had more think to be aware of. Another guy who looked weird was standing nearby, I was looking at him and he was looking at somewhere else.
The trained reach the next station, which is Serdang and it seems that the train is moving very sloooooooowly. Maybe this is due to the number of commuters in the trains but there are more people waiting at Serdang station. The tanned skin people keep on squeezing in. I was so annoyed by these inconsiderate people. I can feel everyone is trying to adjusting their respective position. All these hands moving and touching and the shoulder knocking. YERR!!! argh!!! I rarely curse but seriously this is the time for you to curse WHAT THE F***. (of course not cursing out load). Sardine or tuna in a can being placed in an oven is how I described the situation.
The train was really moving very slowly. Took so long just to reach Mid Valley. ARGH!!!
But I had a great time in The Gardens and Mid Valley Megamall. Shopping is so fun. The thing that I felt sad about is that the shoes that I wanted in S&K and F.O.S didn't have my size. Also the cardigan in Top Man only left 2 sizes. Haiz. SAD...
Oh Yeah, we met our lecturer and her baby in the MPH bookstore.
p/s never take KTM during public holiday!
